  2. I can't wait for the oak trees to start shedding their little pollen... thingies. The streets turn yellow and you have to clean off your car!

  3. This has never happened where I live... Malaysia, a small tropical country. I imagine it can be quite beautiful and all be turned into compost.

  4. Hi, One, and thanks for the compliment. I'm in Northern Virginia, USA. The pollen actually can be kind of pretty... but VERY annoying for those of us with allergies. I never thought about composting; it might be too dusty.

    btw, I'm really enjoying your insect photos!
